Carrots:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

• 2 lbs carrots<\/li>\n\n
• 1\/3 c brown sugar<\/li>\n\n
• salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n\n
• 1\/2 tsp cinnamon<\/li>\n\n
• 4 oz goat cheese crumbles<\/li>\n\n
• 1 T fresh thyme<\/li><\/ul>\n\n

  Candied Pecans:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

  • 2 T butter<\/li>\n\n
  • 3 T maple syrup<\/li>\n\n
  • 1 T brown sugar<\/li>\n\n
  • 1 c pecan pieces<\/li>\n\n
  • 1\/2 tsp sea salt<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\n

    Instructions<\/h2>\n\n

    1. place carrots in baking dish and sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, salt and pepper<\/li>\n\n
    2. place slices of butter over entire dish<\/li>\n\n
    3. roast on 375F for 30 min or until carrots are cooked through<\/li>\n\n
    4. meanwhile, melt butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup in a pan on stove<\/li>\n\n
    5. add in pecan pieces and simmer mixture until it thickens. sprinkle in sea salt to finish<\/li>\n\n
