Strawberry Basil Margs

With Cinco de Mayo coming up, add this recipe to your list of refreshments!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 container of strawberries, destemmed
  • 1/4 c tequila
  • 2 T Cointreau (or triple Sec)
  • 1/3 c lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey
  • basil

Instructions:

  1. blend all ingredients besides basil in blender
  2. in a cocktail shaker, muddle the basil to get some of the flavor out
  3. poor in blended mixture
  4. add lid and shake
  5. pour onto ice filled cup through the strainer of the cup to avoid chunks of basil
