Asian Zing Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients:

  • 1 head of cauliflower, broken into florets
  • 2 eggs whisked, egg wash
  • 1 c bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • S&P to taste

Sauce:

  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 c honey
  • 1/3 c coconut aminos
  • 2 T ACV
  • 1 tsp red curry paste
  • 1 T minced garlic
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1 T arrowroot powder (or cornstarch)

Instructions:

  1. combine bread crumbs and spices in a ziploc bag
  2. dip florets in egg wash, then place in bag of bread crumb mixture
  3. close and shake around until cauliflower is covered
  4. cook in oven (400F)or air fryer* until desired crispiness
  5. meanwhile, make sauce in pan by combining all sauce ingredients besides water and arrowroot powder
  6. let come to a simmer
  7. mix water and cornstarch in a small bowl
  8. add to sauce, mix and remove from heat to help thicken
  9. when cauli is done, cover in sauce and it’s ready to eat!

*if cooking in air fryer, I would pre-steam before coating in bread crumbs OR, cook in oven for a little first to soften cauli then place in air fryer to crisp up*
