Brownie Bites

Here’s a healthier alternative for a sweet fix or even a great pre workout or mid afternoon snack! I always have these or other energy bites on hand for a quick little bite and I mean who doesn’t love chocolate 🍫

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c of cashews
  • 3/4 c of pecans
  • 10-15 dates depending on your sweetness preference and size of dates
  • 3 Tbs cocoa powder
  • 1/3 c unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1-2 Tbs of maple syrup (optional)
  • however many chocolate chips you want😛 (I used @enjoylifefoods brand)

Instructions

  1. blend nuts in food processor
  2. add in dates and blend more
  3. add in maple syrup, cocoa powder, coconut and blend more
  4. add in chocolate chips and pulse til blended in mixture
  5. scoop about a Tbs out at a time and roll into a ball
  6. place in the freezer- they taste best eaten straight from there!
