Brownie Bites
Here’s a healthier alternative for a sweet fix or even a great pre workout or mid afternoon snack! I always have these or other energy bites on hand for a quick little bite and I mean who doesn’t love chocolate 🍫
Ingredients
- 3/4 c of cashews
- 3/4 c of pecans
- 10-15 dates depending on your sweetness preference and size of dates
- 3 Tbs cocoa powder
- 1/3 c unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1-2 Tbs of maple syrup (optional)
- however many chocolate chips you want😛 (I used @enjoylifefoods brand)
Instructions
- blend nuts in food processor
- add in dates and blend more
- add in maple syrup, cocoa powder, coconut and blend more
- add in chocolate chips and pulse til blended in mixture
- scoop about a Tbs out at a time and roll into a ball
- place in the freezer- they taste best eaten straight from there!
