Healthy Orange Chicken
Ingredients:
Marinade:
- 1 c orange juice
- 1/3 c coconut aminos
- 2 T chili oil
- 1 T sesame oil
- salt & thyme
- chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 1/4 c GF flour
- bell pepper, diced
- jasmine rice
- steamed broccoli
- sesame seeds
Instructions:
- mix marinade ingredients together in a bowl
- pour over chicken and let marinate for at least 30 min
- to cook, remove chicken and place in pan
- cover with the flour to create a light breading
- empty marinade into the pan with chicken and turn to medium heat
- add in bell peppers to pan and let cook for 10 min
- the dish is done when sauce starts to thicken and chicken is cooked through
- serve over rice with a side of broccoli and topped with sesame seeds
